I acted prayerfully
Now I must leave
The results in your hands.

I sought you fervently
And continue
To seek you and listen.

Listening carefully
Emotions tossed
To and fro by the sea.

Did acts strike harmfully
Against the lives
Of those I sought to help?

I believe absurdly,
I’m capable,
Of messing up your way.

But you are perfectly
Able to use
Cracked vessels such as I.

For you are fearfully
Wise and knowing,
I trust in your leading.

I can wait fearlessly,
While you gently
Move on the hearts of men.

Simply and willingly
Trusting in you,
My keel in the sea.
