Welcome,

Slow down. Dig deep. Let Scripture nourish your whole life.

Cinnamon rolls and bacon
At grandma and grandpa’s
Breakfast at thanksgiving time
This house, this home looks like fall
I went to town with grandma
To create the center piece
It stands now in its glory
Ready for the coming feast
Cookies in the cookie jar
Checkers on the table
Thick carpet under foot
Cozy as baby’s cradle
Sweet grandma and grandpa
They are with us for this day
Embodied love given space
Tenderness in great array

Dear Josh what a beautiful poem. Grandpa and I just loved your words and to know you remembered this time that was so special to us. Remembering as I read brought tears to my eyes thinking of you and I searching for the perfect colorful Fall leaves to use on the table. And the smell of cinnamon rolls in the morning. What wonderful memories. You are truly a poet and very loved always. Thank you honey.
