When broken I am whole
A citizens of God’s kingdom
Though I look a fool
With crucified freedom

Turning to follow Jesus
In the kingdom near
Now a citizen of heaven
ambassador without fear

Shining out the very light
No darkness comprehends
Fearlessly loving
Unto what seems the end

The borders of his kingdom
Even death encompass
In Suffering and trials
Still I am held fast

In His joyful suffering
And His selfless love
We feed all of creation
Manna from above

Bread from heaven
Given without discrimination
But how should I live
When peace would hide oppression
