Eat This Book is one of my favorite Eugene Peterson books. Eugene Peterson is the translator of the Message Bible. It really impacted my thinking on the way that we read the Bible. He looks at John and Ezekiel who were both told to “Eat this book” and explores the importance of allowing the Bible to fuel our lives. He also touches on the importance translating the Bible regularly into the language of the people.

The production quality of this book is excellent. Grover Gardener is a popular and very good reader, but if you are new to audiobooks you may find his voice a little hard to pay attention too.
